Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya is dedicated to developing a passion for learning life skills for self-reliance and capacity building. The college has established various centres for the student's growth and professional development. The Centre for Career Guidance, Training, and Placement is one of them. It works as a strong connection between the corporate world and academia. The placement centre has consistently tried to recognize each applicant's potential and has continuously worked to design activities that enhance skills and nurture talent. The centre is working on the following objectives-

  • To identify the innate skills of the students and match them with recent trends.
  • To bridge the gap between the students and opportunities in the world around.
  • To facilitate the exploration, clarification and implementation of students academic, personal and career goals.

The centre collaborates with leading organizations to set up student internship and training programs. For dynamic employability, the college signed a two-year MOU with the Global Talent Track Foundation, Pune (under CSR activity Barclays, London, UK) that provided considerable development and opportunity for students. As a consequence of joint collaboration, three skill training programs were organized within two years. A total of 216 students registered for the sessions, and 129 students were selected for different job profiles through these training sessions. Under the industry-academia collaboration with BOSCH, training for students was organized keeping in mind igniting the moral values of the students. In this training, 30 students participated, and it was a great learning experience for them.

The centre interacts with many companies and industries in PAN India. During the session 2022–23, companies such as Deutsche Bank, CBI Solutions, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Felicity, Hyrefox Consultants Private Limited, Trimates Technologies Pvt. Ltd., etc. held campus recruitment drives at Kanoria College. They selected more than 30 students for various job positions. The highest salary package offered to students is INR 4.8 LPA. 

In the academic year 2022–23, the center conducted several career counseling sessions, such as: 

  • A 10-day workshop on Employability Skill Development with Mahindra Pride Classroom in association with the Naandi Foundation
  • An interactive session on 'Future Prospects and the Right Career Options After Graduation' by CA Nikhil Nainani (Corporate Trainer), IBM, Pune
  • A pre-placement talk with students for a placement opportunity in the banking sector.
  • A 10-day virtual workshop on 'Employability Enhancement' under the guidance of experts from Mahindra Pride Classroom in association with the Naandi Foundation
  • A webinar on the topic 'How to Put Your Best Foot Forward in an Interview: 3 Tips on Interviewing' with the collaboration of the Global Talent Track Foundation 
  • An Interactive session on 'A Journey of Building Self and Building the Nation' with the collaboration of the Piramal Foundation.

During the session 2022-2023, around 338 students from different courses received internships through the portal of Internshala, which is a technology company that provides internships and online training to improve the skills and employability of students. Apart from this, more than 30 students have got internships from different companies in their respective subjects.
