Sudarshan: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)

Sudarshan: “WAT was written. The time given for WAT was around 30 minutes. We had just one page to write our answers. A total of 30 minutes was given to this and write. Tips for good performance in WAT is to have a general understanding of topics and write balanced answers rather than try to be very critical.”

What were the WAT / GD Topic?

Sudarshan: “Something around allowing the use of marijuana for medication.”

What were your answers/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Sudarshan: “The answer was about how marijuana is a psychotropic substance and how it could hamper a person's ability to reason. Also included how youngsters could get dragged into it and end up as criminals.”

Describe the general setting of your Interview.

Sudarshan: “It was a 3 member panel and the mode of the interview was offline. The interview lasted for 30 minutes. The interview was a pretty relaxed one. To perform well in the interview be honest and don't bluff.” Check IIM Indore Admission Process

  1. Why MBA? Answer- It looks to be a perfect addition to my profile after having worked for the Govt of India and also in startups.
  2. What is special about your hometown, Udupi? Answer- It is a temple town and located on the coast. Also known for the Udupi cuisine.
  3. What is your opinion about the political situation now? answer- The country is doing well and the focus is on the improvement of the economy. People of this country are wise enough to make the right decision.
  4. What after MBA? Answer- I aim to work for the Corporate sector, learn and then see where life takes me.
  5. How many IIMs are there in India? Answer- 20.
