Based on intial student feedback, CMAT 2023 shift 1 paper was moderate level. Candidates have reported a few mistakes in the shift 1 paper of CMAT 2023.
- Quant and DI section was a bit time consuming and tricky with more ‘correct statement’ type questions.
- 5 questions in 1 DI set of moderate level.
- LR section was moderate and lengthy with 7-8 questions from blood relations, syllogisms, coding-decoding, figure counting.
- VARC section had more vocabulary based questions followed by 2 RC passages- one on Bhopal Gas Tragedy and one on Tepid Water.
- GK and Innovation & Entrepreneurship sections were easy.
- GK section had 18 questions from Static GK and maximum questions in I&E were theory-based.
