the course is really relevant to the ever-changing tech industry, our curriculum is updated every year since it's an AI era hence it's really good as we always learn new things that too using the latest tools in the form of projects.
The tuition fee is approximately $114k AUD for a 3-year bachelor's program without a scholarship; it includes 288 units, that is, 6 semesters and 48 units per sem.
The staff and teachers are very nice and helpful. They share their knowledge in more interesting and interactive way so the students find it very innovative and the everyone are able to understand the topic much faster
14000 AUD PER SEMESTER
Very relevant and appropriate. Almost too specific, you learn lots about all of the civil disciplines and specialize in later years, chiding from water, GEOTECH, structural or transport. Negative is having some classes in Bundoora.
If you are a local student it is only about 1,400 per subject and that goes on the HECS student loan scheme.
It's interesting; however, it lacks respect to those from religious backgrounds and seems very anti-theist. This is obviously attributed to its skeptical nature and emphasis on scientific discipline and the like. Extremely disappointing.
Fees differ between courses. However, most courses allow for a CSP which means the government pays for the course over your study period through a system known as HECS-HELP. Once you graduate and get employed, this money gets deducted through taxes once you reach a certain income threshold.
I really like it, and the subjects on offer really match up with what you do in the real world and it's just such a great uni. Like there are so many units in Melbourne that just make your study and study and they don't prepare you for a job.
It's like just over $1000 per subject but it also depends on what course you're going to. We have to pay student amenities fees and it's all covered under HECS.
I am doing my first semester so I cannot state my opinion for the whole course curriculum for my Associate Degree, but for the first semester, I am somewhat dissatisfied with it as there are units that have little relevance with IT, such as Workplace Communication in where you learn things as how to be empathetic. Units such as these feel like a waste of time, but more importantly a waste of money. Other then that, however, it seems fine and I am indifferent.
The fees are quite average for an Australian university, however, as Students, Australian citizens are eligible for HECs Loans (interest-free Government loans to be paid off through future taxation) which allow low-income individuals to study and gain an education. I myself do have a HECs loan.
