Reason for choosing my college

The Sault college has a branch in the GTA which made me choose sault college in first place, conestoga college has all it's branches in kitchiner and waterloo area only. And for Bradley university and lawrence university my USA visa didn't get approved in first place which made me choose canada.

Reason for Rejection

The size of the campus and very less chairs, no canteen, no sports area, no medical facility, no extra curricular activities, no softwares provided which is provided by all other colleges.

I have chosen Canada after I got rejected for USA, Canada was my first option but due to financial imbalance, I had to go with USA. After rejection of Visa, I continued for Canada. As I had few backlogs in my bachelor's, I couldn't get into universities in Canada and had to go with college. And in college I had very few options to go with and went with advanced project management to align with my bachelor's and future career goals. And the college is worst as they do not have any better college area, no softwares to provide for students which other colleges provide with same area, no proper faculty, not more than 5 classes in whole college, no extracurricular activities, when college thinks to arrange any event or festival they ask students to contribute in funds as college only can go with juice and chips.

• 3 days a week- weekend classes or weekdays class.
• 30-35 students in a class when usually full 30 out of 35 are indians and few other are of other nationality 1 hour time goes daily into assignments and self study.

• There is 1 faculty to 40 students, faculty knowledge is good and they do their job in the respective departments and provide us with the knowledge they use in their job which makes us improve.
• Raaz kian who was the professor in college was the best among our faculty, she works as project manager at a company and teaches on weekend to us, she shares all the knowedge and work she do at her job to let us know what an actual project manager has to do. Yes they do help in finding a job by letting us using their names as references.

Multiple campuses in gta, no sports area, no library, no medical facility in brampton campus. No campus fests or clubs or any popular event in the college as no space and no funds to provide for fest by college no extra curricular activities.

• The minimum base pay which is 17.31, part time jobs are diffiult to find in canada, but if you have any refrences you can find one sooner. Usually security guard job is good and easy to find if you have a good built and a cleaner job with no hectic.

• If you opt for a legal job you get it with a minimum pay, off campus mainly as a security guard. College doesn’t have any in campus jobs.
• For internship college helps in finding it but in my case I had to find one by myself. 24 hours are allowed per week to work Off campus.

Placements mainly depends upon the course and job type you will be searching for, as image of Canada isn’t good right now in India and many students have backed out coming to Canada and it made the job market to be available but still that depend on which market you are trying to enter to. IT market is very slow and until you have a very strong experince you can’t find a job.

Online platforms like Whatsapp groups, no challenges faced as accommodations are available. Earlier when I came to canada in 2023 there was a bit difficult to find a place to live but now as the incoming international students declined, there is a lot of place.
