What Students Say
Likes
- I think the college degree doesn't guarantee or stands out in profile, it provides foundations and opportunity to collaborate in a team working for projects and assignments.
Course Curriculum
- For a beginner, it was a good curriculum, but I still felt many of the subjects and topics were too outdated. I would say very average. It would still give some foundations.
Admission Experience
- This was the only college that offered a 2-year PG Diploma in AI and Data Science at the time of applying.
- Overall 6 with no band less than 5.5. My band was 7.5 in IELTS
Faculty
- There were some good faculty members, as many of them were working professionals.
Campus Life
- Nothing special, the main campus in Belleville might offer some of the activities, but the one I studied in Toronto is closed now.
Part Time Jobs
- No such opportunities on campus
Placement
- I think the degree doesn't help in any way. They had a career fair, but it wasn't useful. Securing a job is totally based on one's skills and experience. The more you are skilled and experienced, the better the chances. The percentage was pretty low, to be honest.
- A Data Scientist with some background experience can get around a starting pay of $80000 on average. But for freshers, they do need very solid experience or projects to stand out from the competition
Accommodation
- We rented a house as friends outside the campus.
Exams
- IELTS is enough for admission, and documents are generally not complicated.
Fees
- I did my studies in 2021, from that time it has changed a lot. For me, the tuition fees were around $25000
