Question Answer

Ques. How good is kiit for studying B Tech?

● Top Answer By Ananya Dasgupta on 26 Jul 23

Ans. KIIT is a good choice for a B.Tech. I have listed below some reasons for my assertion- In KIIT, you will get good scores and it also offers a wide learning scope. KIIT has a beautiful and impressive infrastructure. It has its own aeronautical society, automobile society, robotics society, and more.  Most of your teachers will be IITians, NITians, and Ph.D.s.Therefore, you can expect proper guidance. KIIT frequently organizes events, talks, conferences, and activities. The Fest is also really awesome. It is recognized both inside and outside India. Many students from outside India come to KIIT to pursue various degrees. The campus has a 24*7 wifi facility and you will be provided with a good laptop. Basic laptop issues will be taken care of for free unless there is hardware damage. Every department has its own library and a central library. Every classroom has a projector, a minimum of 1 camera, and a minimum of 2 ACs.  As a KIITian, within the campus, you can download any research paper from IEEE, Scopus, or Elsevier, without paying a single penny. The placements for B.Tech are quite promising. For 2023, around 90% + placements were achieved. The average CTC was recorded at approx. INR 6.50 LPA, and the highest CTC stood at INR 63 LPA. Capegemini gave offers to 346 students, followed by Bosch Global Software Technologies (P) Ltd. with 242 job offers. The IT Mass Recruitment Campus Drives generated 1300 job offers from companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, and IBM, among others. Other than all these interesting facts, like any other college or university, KIIT will give to friends for life and some of the best memories. Your lifestyle and mindset will transform for the best during your years at KIIT.Read more

Ques. Is IIIT Ranchi CSE a good choice for B.Tech, or would VIT Vellore be better? (also note that I'd be trying to get into a good university abroad for MBA after BTech.)

● Top Answer By Muskan Agrahari on 27 Jun 25

Ans. Both IIIT Ranchi and VIT Vellore can help you build a strong profile if you want to pursue your MBA abroad after your B.Tech, but they have different benefits: Quick Comparison Table Criteria IIIT Ranchi CSE VIT Vellore CSE Institute Type Government (IIIT, Institute of National Importance) Private Deemed University Placements (Avg. CSE) 12–16 LPA 9.9 LPA overall, ~12+ LPA for CSE Highest Package 28 LPA 88 LPA Fees (Approx.) 5–6 lakhs total 7–9 lakhs (varies by fee category) Global Exposure Limited but growing Strong international tie-ups (2+2, 3+2, etc.) Alumni Network (Abroad) Small but credible Large and active globally Campus & Infra Functional, developing campus Excellent infrastructure Brand Value Abroad Good due to govt. tag Popular in Asia and the Middle East, gaining recognition Good placements and a government-approved degree that enhances educational credibility are two benefits of pursuing an MBA from MBA Abroad View IIIT Ranchi. But apart from its greater alumni community and more structured international exposures, VIT Vellore has experiences that will be useful while seeking an MBA abroad, particularly through networking and word-of-mouth recommendations.  – In case you would like to choose, pick IIIT Ranchi: lower fees and improved placements, a government degree (occasionally useful for MBA or scholarship exams), and greater personal attention are outcomes of having fewer students.  – In case you would like to choose, pick VIT Vellore, in consideration of international programs and transfer possibilities, a large, engaged alumni community overseas, and further assistance to construct an MBA record through internships, activities, and clubs.Read more
