Ques. Is KCET mandatory for B.Sc Nursing admission at SIMS Shimoga, or can I apply directly?
Ans. KCET is mandatory for Karnataka state quota seats (85% of total seats). You cannot apply directly to SIMS Shimoga for B.Sc Nursing. You must register for KCET, appear in the Biology paper, and then participate in KEA UGCET counselling. Only after seat allotment through KEA can you report to the college for admission.
Ques. What is the actual fee I need to pay at the time of admission to SIMS Shimoga for B.Sc Nursing?
Ans. The total tuition fee for the 4-year B.Sc Nursing programme is approximately Rs. 34,000 (around Rs. 8,500 per year). At the time of admission, you will also need to pay the KEA counselling registration fee, caution deposit, library fee, and examination fee.
