Saintgits College of Engineering offers a 4-year full-time Bachelor of Technology programme in Electronics & Computer Engineering, a unique interdisciplinary program combining principles and knowledge from both Electronics Engineering and Computer Software Engineering. With an annual intake of approximately 60 seats, the programme is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU). The program addresses the increasing demand for professionals who possess expertise in both hardware and system software, particularly in embedded systems. The curriculum provides comprehensive understanding of both disciplines, bridging the gap between electronics hardware systems and software concepts. Students gain expertise in Analog and Digital System Design, VLSI design, Embedded Systems, IoT, Computer Architecture, Digital Signal Processing, Electronic Product Design, Data Structures, Algorithm Analysis, Object Oriented Programming, Computer Networks, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Real Time Operating Systems. Graduates are equipped with necessary skills to design, develop, and integrate hardware and software components in various electronic products and services. The program prepares students for diverse career opportunities in consumer electronics, manufacturing, healthcare, IT, telecommunications, networking, mobile communication, power electronics, and internet technology sectors. Admission is primarily through KEAM (Kerala Entrance Examination for Medical and Engineering) with merit-based selection.
Admission Status and Important Dates:
B.Tech admissions for 2026 are currently ongoing with registration open. KEAM 2026 exam is scheduled from April 13 to April 25, 2026. The result will be declared on May 10, 2026, followed by rank list publication on May 20, 2026. Online option registration (Phase 1) is tentatively scheduled for July 18-21, 2026, with Phase 2 from July 25-28, 2026. Counselling and allotment procedures will follow the official KEAM schedule as per the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala.
