Ques. Is B.Pharm at PIET Panipat approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)?
Ans. Yes, the B.Pharm programme at PIET is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated to Kurukshetra University. PCI approval is mandatory for any B.Pharm programme in India, and PIET holds this approval, ensuring the degree is recognized across the country for employment and higher studies.
Ques. What is the total fee for B.Pharm at PIET and how is it paid?
Ans. The total course fee for B.Pharm at PIET is Rs. 5,60,000 for 4 years (Rs. 1,40,000 per year as per the 2025-26 official fee structure). The annual fee is paid in two instalments - Rs. 70,000 at the start of the odd semester and Rs. 70,000 in November/December for the even semester. Hostel charges are additional and optional, starting from Rs. 80,000/year for a standard 4-sharing room.
Ques. Can I get admission to B.Pharm at PIET without appearing in OCET?
Ans. 75% of B.Pharm seats at PIET are filled through HSTES centralized counselling based on OCET rank. However, the remaining 25% seats (vacant after HSTES rounds) are filled through institute-level counselling, where admission may be based on inter-se merit of 10+2 marks. So while OCET is the primary route, institute-level admission is possible for leftover seats. It is advisable to appear in OCET for a better chance of securing a seat.

After B.Pharm from PIET, graduates can pursue careers as Production Executive, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer, Medical Representative, Regulatory Affairs Executive, Drug Inspector, or Hospital Pharmacist. Ques. Is hostel facility available for B.Pharm students at PIET? Is it mandatory?
Ans. Yes, PIET provides hostel facility for both boys and girls. Hostel is not mandatory and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The standard 4-sharing room costs Rs. 80,000 per year (including meals), while AC rooms and rooms with fewer occupants are priced higher. Girls' hostel rooms with attached bathrooms carry an additional charge of Rs. 8,000. Students from outside Panipat/Haryana are advised to apply for hostel early as seats are limited.

Ans. PIET offers multiple scholarships for B.Pharm students. The PAT (PIET Admission Test) scholarship offers up to 100% tuition fee waiver based on performance in PIET's own entrance test.
