Mar Ivanios College Thiruvananthapuram BA: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In the college, I have studied that is Mar Ivanios College Trivandrum the fee structure is affordable. There is also a merit based and a self financing block in the college. I applied. for merit as I have high marks in the CBSE higher secondary examinations.

First year fees upto 5000.The college also charges fees for admission, examination and other services which range from ?100 to ? 1000.The fee structure is different for all subjects. Hostel fee range from ?2000 to ?5000 per month

So Basically I took the course Ba Analytical Economics which comes under self financing department means we have to pay comparatively more fees than the aided department. Because as for the aided dept faculties salary is given by the government while the self financing dept faculties salary is given from the students fees. Also This course is combined with Civil service coaching classes which are conducted by Fortune Academy. The initial fees which you pay comes near 50,000 INR. In this 20,000INR is for the civil service classes . Also it is a one time payment. After that the sem fees comes back to 15,000INR . The civil service classes will be conducted in both online and offline mode . It will be a 3hour class conducted during saturdays. If you are a SC ST or comes under any other low income categories, you can submit the required certificates from the tahilsidar office for fee reduction. Also there will be a initial 8000INR which is required to be paid in the name of College maintainance fees. It reduces according to your parents annual income . So it's not a worry , they will not force it upon you.

Fee structure is available in the website. For aided courses the fees can range up to 3-5 K Per year. Scholarships are available for students With reservation. PTA fund of 10-20k will be collected. Caution deposit is 360 and additional charges up to 2000 which covers Development fees lab fees and other charges.

People who get through merit only needs to pay 15000 as pta fund. Getting admission through reservations and other quotas should pay more amount. Scholarships are also available. There also students who get through sports quota.

The overall fee for the course was cost me like about 1 lakh. But I think it was worth for the fees as my course was an applied course. No scholarships or financial aid is provided from the college. No sort of campus employment was provided.

The course offers a civil service foundation course in the first year which costs 12000 per semester.The tuition fee of the course is 10000 per sem.In total the whole fees during the course was 84000.There was scholarships offered on the basis of merit.The placement cell provided for job opportunities in federal Bank.

Fees of both aided and self financing courses are comparitively higher than of other govt colleges. Students of reserved categories often can apply for scholarships and avail them. PTA fund collected from students is also negotiable. Overall fee structure is quite affordable for aided courses but for self financing courses, it is exorbitant.

The fees per semester is around ?12,000. Along with this, you will have to pay additional fees for civil service coaching which varies every year ( Usually around ?10,000 / semester ). Campus placement oppurtunities are very limited.

The college provides availability of scholarships , financial assistance and campus opportunities . The exam fees should need to reduce in my openion , and also for the fees which is been fixed on revaluation should also be reduced
