A brief about B Borooah college

Fees and Financial Aid:

We have to pay 7480 for our Bsc Programe for a year including 2 semesters. Everyone have to pay the same amount even the unreserved categories and reserved .And the college charges about 2100 from us as a examination fees including practicals if it is without practicals then it would be around 1300 to 1400 probably. I have to pay my fees in the starting of every odd semester .

Good selection of courses along major for almost all subjects of arts.

The admission fees is free. There's registration fees after every semester. But for bsc IT it's around 15,000/year because Bsc IT is private here. Moreover the campus is really huge with all the eateries. All the labs are clearly maintained with all the equipments required.

One of the best college in guwahati.... Best known for chemistry department. Some teachers are bit strict but they are very helpful and all the non teaching staffs are too friendly and corandum is nicely maintained

Hi, my name is Kabyajyoti Patowary. I am currently in BSc Chemistry Major in B.Borooah College. First of all the environment is great here even though there are some times that classes are not done properly due to college elections and other class exams. Ayways to the main subject, the fee structure is great in science department as I don't have to pay much as compared to private colleges and the education is as good as them. I paid around 4000 INR to during the admission process for the whole year. There is no monthly fees but just a one time fee annually. This helps me alot as I am living alone in this city and have trouble managing money. Thats it. Thank you

The yearly fees of b borooah college depends upon the course , in my course in bsc mathematics is 7000 thousand yearly , and a fees of around 1600-2000 is taken during registration of examination in which 300 of examination center fees is included , for those whose family income is less than 2 lakhs per annum get the additional chance of free admission. The get the admission free of cost. Practical( lab) fees which is included in registration fees vary according to the subjects of studens , additional aid fund is given to graduation students who have better performance and attendance during graduation.

The year wise fee structure is rupees 7080. It varies for different departments like BBA and BSC..but it is the same for all BA course. There is various scholarships option like ISHAN UDOI scheme for the students

Unknown secret of college

I have been studying in this college from 2 years+ .In 2022 when I taken admission for first semester and second semester they take admission fees of total ?27000 for my degree and every year I have to take admission for next two semesters approx of ?7000-?8000. And for every semester exam I have to pay ?2000. For Hostel l haveto pay ?15000 (which I have to pay every year)+ ?3000 caution money and I have to pay ?3000 every month for mess fee.

My college

The admission fees of 1st semester bsc zoology major is 7010. There is no tuition fees and there is no caution fees also.The registration fees of our college is 500. The development fees of our college is 500.As a Science students the lab fees is 1000 in our college.As I have no management category I don't know about compulsory fees. In our college many types of scholarship come .

I paid 7010 for the b.a admission in geography major of 1st semester. And then again I paid 2090 to apply for the 1st semester examination.There was also free admission for the students whose yearly invome is less than 5 lakh ripees. Students with economically poor background also received scholarships. There were also seat reservation for the students from sc and st cast during the time of admission

A college for a better future: B.Borooah college

Since, B.Borooah college is an govt. College you don't need to pay monthly fees. But admission fees is to be paid. I paid Rs. 7,480 . Also free admission was provided to students having income certificate with income less than 1,00,000. Scholarships are provided to those students with poor economic status , provided they didn't avail the facility of free admission.

B. Borooah College offers admissions into undergraduate courses of B.A, B.Sc, BBA and postgraduate course of M.Sc. Students interested in applying for undergraduate courses shall be admitted directly through the merit of marks obtained in HSC qualifying examination.

Yes, Students with PCB combination in 10+2 are also eligible for admission to Bachelor of Information Technology course.
