Dislikes
- While my college excels in many areas, one aspect that could be improved is the student dorm accommodation. Currently undergoing construction, the dorms may not meet the immediate needs of students seeking on-campus housing. However, beyond this temporary inconvenience, I find little to dislike about my college, as it offers an overall enriching and supportive academic environment.
Required Exams for Admission
My experience at my college ( till now) has been exceptionally and fulfilling. The institution has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and practical skills, particularly in the field of management.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum in our program strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, making it particularly relevant for those aiming to pursue careers as Consulting or Analysts. The core modules delve into statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling and explore tools like R,Python and SQL. During our fourth semester, we participate in industry visits in other countries and these visits give us an idea of how organisation operates and their challenges. During our visit, we will provide with business case challenges of the company and we are expected to analyze the data, identify the patterns and come with a solution as team.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio for MiM course is 1:41. The FSFM has high percentage of faculty with doctorate and the faculty members are well qualified in their respective fields and very friendly towards friendly.
Campus Life
Campus life here in most prestigious institution is nothing short of spectacular, which encompass the vibrant and enriching atmosphere expected from such a prestigious institution. It has almost 20 active and informative clubs with plenty of opportunities for students to engage with a range of interests and develop meaningful relationships within the community, and the library which is accessible for 24 hours, ensuring that we have unlimited resources for study. Additionally, the free access to the gym, promoting physical well-being alongside mental development. Additionally, the dedicated finance department provides valuable insights into current market trends, with a wide range of departments aimed at developing skills, equipped with the tools needed to improve learning and in the workplace.
Placement
The college has a partnerships with a wide array of esteemed companies.Many students even secure positions while studying, taking advantage of opportunities as working students within various companies. After completing the studies, the significant portion of graduates find a job in a well position, with a median salary averaging around 1500 euros per month.
Accommodation
Accommodation facilities abroad at in my college is relatively higher cost due to the prime location of the campus. The college dormitories, though currently only 50% completed ( under construction) priced at approximately 700 euros per month, with expectations of an increase in the coming year. However, for those seeking alternatives, nearby student apartments are available which at a higher rate of around 1000 euros per month. Given the demand and cost of living in Frankfurt, where the college is located,it is wise to search for the accommodation three months prior to the start of the academic term to secure suitable housing arrangements.
Exams
My scores: IELTS 7.5, Business Admission Test (BAT) 80%, GMAT : 630 class minimum score : Ielts:7, GMAT : 600+. The SoP is a crucial part of the application, I started my sop with a captivating opening that highlights the passion for the field. and Discussed about my educational journey, project works etc and explain about the research interests that aligns with the program's focus and career goals.In the LoR, Get a LoR from the recommender who is related to the program, and cite the specific instances that you demonstrated your skills and discussed research paper or seminars. In the CV , I put more emphasis on the certificates, workshops, participation of social initiatives and club volunteering. All these information , which added a value to my application process During the 20-minute interview, the program head asked me about my prior work experience, my motivation for choosing this course, and why I specifically opted for Germany and our college. As an applicant in different undergrad field, I addressed my fit for the program, emphasizing how my background aligns with the university’s values. The interview concluded with a pivotal question: “Where do you see yourself in 5 years and 10 years?” In my Statement of Purpose (SOP), I highlighted my startup venture—a collaboration with my father—focused on eco-friendly paper plates and their positive impact on sustainability and the environment.
Fees
Master in Management (MIM) course at the FSFM is EUR 35,500.Additionally, there is an enrollment fee of EUR 250, bringing the total fees to EUR 35,750, which includes the enrollment fees
