What Students Say
Dislikes
- University fees are extremely high and create a significant financial burden for students.
- Rising tuition and additional costs make higher education difficult to afford for many.
Course Curriculum
- The course curriculum depends on the professor you choose, so checking with seniors is important. Syllabus, exposure, class timings, and class size vary by faculty and course.
Admission Experience
- Top-tier universities offer prestigious education and strong opportunities. They are known for academic excellence, research, and global recognition.
- GRE 300+ , TOEFL 85+, IELTS 6.5+ (Not sure about this ans)
Faculty
- The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable, and working closely with some professors has given me invaluable mentorship. Along with strong bonds with classmates, this makes the learning environment highly supportive and collaborative.
Campus Life
- Campus life is vibrant and much larger compared to other universities, with multiple campuses, active clubs, and frequent large-scale events. There are excellent facilities, including libraries, research centers, sports complexes, and major football matches and other extracurricular activities.
Part Time Jobs
- There are many part-time opportunities on and off campus, with students allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. On-campus roles are applied for through portals or referrals, and many students secure TA/RA/DA positions—I personally worked as a TA and RA for three semesters and can also provide referrals.
Placement
- Full-time job opportunities mainly depend on individual effort and tracking roles through career portals, as there are no direct campus placements or interviews.
- Some career fairs and networking events are organized, and students typically secure jobs through internships, online job portals, and professional networking, with timelines and salary outcomes varying by role and market conditions.
