The Master of Biomedical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology is a two-year (four-semester), full-time postgraduate program offered by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Designed for students with a strong foundation in Computer Science or related disciplines, the program requires applicants—particularly international students from India—to hold a bachelor's degree with a grade equivalent to 2.0 or better on the German scale. Proficiency in German at the C1 level (such as DSH-2 or TestDaF level 4) is mandatory, along with basic English proficiency. Applicants must submit their application through Uni-Assist with a €75 processing fee. Required documents include academic transcripts and certificates (translated into German or English), proof of language proficiency, a CV, a copy of the passport, and a health insurance certificate (which can be provided after admission). The program comprises 120 ECTS credits and focuses on advanced web technologies, preparing graduates for careers in software development, web architecture, and digital systems integration. Chemnitz University of Technology accepts almost all English proficiency exams, such as IELTS,TOEFL and PTE for international students admission. Indian students with excellent scores are eligible for the DAAD-Award worth 1.000,00 Euro.
