St George's University Invites Application for 5 Year Medical Degree Pathway in India; Check Details Here

News Title: St George's University (SGU), Grenada is inviting applications for a Five Year Medical Degree Pathway in India for September 2023 session. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of SGU at sgu.edu/ramaiah.

This pathway is open for interested high school graduates who wish to obtain a Doctor Of Medicine (MD) degree via a 5-year pathway starting at Ramaiah International Medical School in Bengaluru before progressing to St George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada.

To be eligible for SGU Grenada Admission 2023, candidates must have secured a minimum of 80% marks in their Class 12 exams from a recognised exam board. They also need to have Physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and English as their main subjects in class 12.

In addition to this, candidates need to have a valid score in a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission seats.

SGU 5 Year MD Pathway Application 2023: Steps to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of SGU, School Of Medicine at sgu.edu/international-students/ramaiah/.

Step 2: Register yourself by entering the details as required and filling out the application form carefully. 

Step 3: Enter the details as required and upload a copy of mentioned documents. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form to complete your application process. 

Step 6: Take a printout of the form for future reference. 

The official notice reads that medical aspirants from India who have applied for this course will complete their first year at Ramaiah Group of Institutions. After which, they will have clinical rotations in the United States (US) or United Kingdom (UK) as a part of the program.

Informing about the program, Associate Dean of Ramaiah International Medical School, Shalini Sivanajiah said, "Our association with SGU offers students the opportunity to experience medical education on an international level”.
