What Students Say
Likes
- I mostly liked the campus very much and labs also very high-tech. I wish that during master's research project there should be a compulsory activity to publish a part of research or even review article with the help of university and supervisor.
Course Curriculum
- Course is well designed to get most of the hands-on experience on major tools and techniques. Lot of practical work was involved in labs.
Admission Experience
- I was inclined toward The University of Sheffield because of its good World QS ranking and Sheffield is an affordable city.
- The admission requirements for the university of Sheffield are overall 6 bands in IELTS, but I had 7.0 Overall Bands.
Faculty
- All the faculty are very good and highly experienced. Indeed, they are one of the best in the world and provide world-class education. My supervisor, Dr. Qaiser I. Sheikh (Course director of MSc Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) is very experienced and very helpful.
Part Time Jobs
- Part-time jobs are also easily available at the city center and various stores.
Placement
- I think there are good job opportunities and graduates can grab those easily with some good efforts. But after my course completion, I came back to India.
Accommodation
- There are many good options for accommodation in Sheffield city. I lived in Student Roost, Sheffield S3, which is very good at just 111 GBP/week.
Exams
- All the documents are necessary to complete the admission process, like the IELTS TRF, Statement of Purpose, LOR and CV.
Fees
- 27,500 GBP/Year
