How are the hostels at XISS Ranchi?

The hostel rooms are quite good with the availability of mess and food is provided 3 times. The food quality was good. The registration process is quite simple and is done through the college through the admission team.

No. I didn’t opted for hostel as I belong from ranchi and the institute is also at ranchi. Hence I cannot say anything about the accommodation and hostel. But I heard from many of my friends who opted for hostel that the basic amenities are good and upto the satisfaction level.

Yes, it was available in single occupancy, double occupancy and 4 occupancy which for girls, the boys hostel is quite far from college that is in bariatu and they avail college bus for movement.there is water cooler, cupboard, light fan, basketball ball court.

The mess food is simple and hygienic. With only 3000 per month, you get non vegetarian food twice a week. The mess representatives are proactive and vocal in terms of getting the students good food and are selected via a democracatic election process. The hostel representatives are also very proactive and take into account all the problems of the students through regular meetings in the well maintained common room of the hostel. When it comes to food, the menu is customizable which the students can do talking to the mess coordinators and incharges.

Hostel is very normal infrastructure wise, it not at all fancy, infact the building is quite hold so you might face certain difficulty in infrastructure but overall it's so so. Hostel fees is near about 12000 for 6 months for 4 seater room. It may vary a little with 2 seater or single seater room.
