How are the placements at IIM Shillong?

The placement process if two fold, with first one commencing in the first year for summer internships. And after the first year you either get PPO or you go for the final placements. 98-99% of the batch gets places, with some of them opting out the placements.

IIM Shillong has 100% placement record . Last year 85 pre-placement offers were made and 63 recruiters visited campus for final placements. MBB visit campus. Other big companis like Google , Microsoft , Deloitte ,EY , Flipkart etc visit IIM Shillong. Last year average was Rs. 26.96 lakh , median was Rs. 26 lakh , and highest was Rs. 71 lakh.Companies offer roles in all domains like finance ,consulting , operations, HR and sales & marketing.

Placements of colleges are extremely good and for the last few years colleges registered 100% placement records. Many top companies do visit the college and offer extremely good roles. After getting the degree I am looking forward to a successful professional career.

The placements offered on the campus are very engaging and lucrative. Around Rs. 27 lakhs is the average package offered. Top companies like Amazon, Maruti Suzuki, Landmark Group, and others come to recruit on campus.
