Thiagarajar College of Engineering in Madurai has been a mixed bag for me. I’m pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and while the curriculum is decent, I feel it could be more updated. The faculty are friendly and helpful, and they do implement practical learning, which I appreciate.

The placement opportunities are quite good, with many students getting offers from big companies like TCS and Accenture, which is motivating. However, I sometimes find the exam structure a bit stressful, but overall, I think it's a decent place to build a career.

TCE has lots of grads doing their PG at IIT and IISc or making a name as entrepreneurs. TCE has something for everyone. For those keen on studies, it opens doors to higher education; for budding entrepreneurs, it offers skill enhancement and industry connections. If you're into extracurriculars, there are plenty of clubs and activities, plus a solid placement cell to boot.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering in Madurai is known for having some of the best professors. It's a great place for students eager to enhance their creativity. The professors here focus more on action than words, which is pretty cool. Students become more mature and independent in managing their studies. • The usual college experiences like freshers' parties, big cultural events, sports meets, and memorable symposiums are not part of TCE.
• The college expects students to be proactive, which could be challenging if you're not used to it.
• While Madurai is famous for its tasty food, the food at TCE, whether in the hostel or food court, might not meet your expectations.
• When it comes to placements, you can't sit for multiple companies, even big ones like Amazon or Microsoft.
