Honestly, scoring 87 in CMAT 2021 puts you below the cut-off for NIBM Pune, which is 98.5 percentile for CMAT. It’s a pretty competitive college, especially for the PGDM BFSI course. So, while it’s not impossible to get a call, it’s not very likely either. If you’re really interested, consider applying to see if they might still consider your profile.

With an 87 in CMAT 2021, you may still have a chance to get a call from NIBM Pune, but it's worth noting that the cut-off for CMAT is 98.5 percentile. So, it's a bit tricky as your score is below that mark. However, sometimes they consider other factors, so you might still want to apply and see how it goes. Just keep your fingers crossed!

I got into NIBM with a different score, but I know that the cut-off for CMAT is quite high at 98.5 percentile. With an 87, it seems like you’re quite far from that. I’d say your chances are slim, but you never know! If you’re passionate about the course, apply and hope for the best. Just be prepared for the possibility that you might not get a call.

Hey there, if you're keen on banking and finance, NIBM is a great choice. However, with an 87% in CMAT, it might be tough to secure a spot at NIBM Pune. Their cutoffs change yearly based on CAT and CMAT scores. Here's a look at last year's cutoffs:

  • CAT: 80 percentile or higher
  • XAT: 94 percentile or higher
  • CMAT: 94 percentile or higher

Given this, Pune is a fantastic place for management studies. I'd advise you to explore other colleges that consider your CMAT score. Balaji Pune could be a good fit since it's a reputable institution with solid placements. They don't have a fixed cutoff for entrance exams, as 30% weightage is given to the exam and 70% to GDPI and essay writing. These are some options with better returns on investment, but the choice is yours. Hope that helps. Best of luck!
