What is so special about IIM Kozhikode??

Let me tell you about my personal experience when I spent three days there during the Backwaters event in 2010. The campus feels like a stay at a resort on a hilltop. As you drive up the road, you first spot a cricket field, and as you continue uphill, the student accommodations appear, giving off a cozy cottage vibe surrounded by lush greenery. I truly enjoyed the campus atmosphere. Plus, the students and the event were fantastic. The Backwaters event was one of the most well-organized events I’ve ever been to. One of the standout features of IIM Kozhikode is the faculty. In my course, the faculty-student ratio is roughly 1:9, which means we get a lot of personal attention. The professors are highly qualified and experienced, and they genuinely care about our learning. It’s also awesome to have the flexibility to choose electives based on our interests. This makes the learning experience much more tailored and relevant to our career goals.

The curriculum at IIM Kozhikode is really extensive and relevant. I’m currently in the Post Graduate Programme in Management (Finance), and it emphasizes real-world applications through case studies and projects. The focus on finance is a major plus for me since I want to pursue a career in investment banking. It gives me a solid understanding of the business dynamics in this field, which I find crucial for my future.
