Also, the college has a great reputation for its affordable fee structure, which is just around ?1300 per annum, making it accessible for many.

Additionally, the campus life is vibrant, with annual fests like Splash and Cobweb that include academic and extracurricular activities. So, if you're passionate about medicine, LHMC is a solid choice!

You might not be too fond of it right away, but trust me, you'll grow to love it over time. I've seen this happen with countless Hardonians during my three years here.

When it comes to academics, the first two years are quite strict. But from the third year, you'll have more freedom to explore your interests because by then, you've got a solid base. Every department is active, packed with interesting cases to learn from (I'm still heading to the ENT OPD for fun even after my posting ended). Ultimately, it's up to you how much you want to study. The opportunities are there, but it's what you make of them that counts.

Beyond academics, LHMC offers a great chance to develop your personality. With 10 societies, various clubs, workshops, conferences, and college events, you'll definitely catch the college vibe and step out of your comfort zone. You can often spot a Hardonian by her unique vibe!

Life in LHMC gives you a lot of freedom. Enjoy it, but also respect it. Don't take your parents' trust for granted and focus on building good relationships. Take things slow and don't do anything that you're uncomfortable with.

We refer to seniors as di or didi. Some juniors have even come up with fun terms like didu and dimdi. Your seniors will help guide you, so make sure to maintain good relations with them.

• Your admission documents, like all the allotment letters you received from the college.
• Be prepared to introduce yourself multiple times to different departments, so bring a lot of patience.
• Have the determination to succeed in college, and don't quit when it gets tough.
• Stay strong and don't let it scare you when seniors or teachers mention that the first year will be challenging.
• And most importantly, carry an attitude suitable for a medical student and a Hardonian.
• Everything else will fall into place once college starts.

Beyond friendships, LHMC offers a bunch of societies like literature, quizzing, dance, drama, art, fashion, photography, and more. So, you’ve got plenty of opportunities to dive into your hobbies and explore new interests.

We also have two cultural fests: Splash, which is inter-college, and Cobweb, which is intra-college. Being part of these events, whether organizing or participating, is a blast. I’ve got some awesome memories from those three days.

And not to boast, but the college's location is unbeatable—right in Connaught Place, Delhi’s heart. You'll never run out of places to explore or hang out. Although, the daily bustling crowd can be a bit tiring, especially those long lines at Rajiv Chowk metro station, but it’s all part of the experience.

As for academics, well, they keep us busy with constant tests and exams. It’s intense, but over time, you adapt, and they say it prepares us well for the future.

LHMC also has its unique charm with 'Mata' and the adorable little dogs roaming around. If you're a dog lover, that's a big plus.

The campus is pretty nice, especially the new building, which is not only functional but also perfect for snapping some great photos.
