If you're looking for a campus with amazing infrastructure and sprawling landscapes, you might not find Chennai Institute of Technology at Kundrathur meeting those expectations. But, if you're interested in learning things beyond the typical, outdated curriculum from Anna University, this place could be quite appealing. Unlike a typical engineering college, it's led by Mr. P. Sriram, an industrial entrepreneur, dedicated to producing more employable engineers.

Although the food might not be exceptional, that's a minor issue. I'd recommend this institute if you're truly passionate about building a career in engineering. The institute is rapidly growing, and it's a smart move to join this journey and make the most of it.

My experience at Chennai Institute of Technology while pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering has been quite positive. The curriculum is well-structured and emphasizes practical learning, which helps in understanding real-world applications. The faculty are approachable and supportive, always ready to clarify doubts.

Plus, the placement opportunities are excellent, with many top companies visiting our campus. The highest package I’ve seen offered is around 44 LPA, which is quite impressive.

They offer industrial projects during the academic year, which is great. You’ll find plenty of resources to help you land a job in your core field. For instance, I graduated from this college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and secured a position as a CNC Programmer at India's top tire mold manufacturing company. I also tackled several industry-related problems while in college. I recommend this college if you want a promising future for your child or relative.

I chose to study at Chennai Institute of Technology for my Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering because of its reputation for good placements. The faculty-student ratio is favorable, and the professors are quite knowledgeable. The curriculum is designed to blend theoretical and practical knowledge, which I find beneficial. The placement support is also commendable; many companies come for recruitment, and I’ve heard that around 95% of students get placed. However, the hostel food could be improved as it’s just average.

Chennai Institute of Technology, particularly for the Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, has been a great choice for me. The faculty members are highly qualified, many holding PhDs, and the teaching quality is impressive. They provide us with good notes and clear explanations, making it easy to understand the concepts. Exams are conducted twice a year, and while they can be challenging, the support from the faculty is always there to help us pass without backlogs. Overall, I feel this institute offers a solid education in my field.
