The environment at Chennai Institute of Technology is quite nice and welcoming. If you're aiming for a job, they offer training sessions to prepare you. If higher studies are your goal, they also provide TOEFL training.

Plus, if you're interested in starting your own business, there are labs where you can work on developing your product.

I chose to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai Institute of Technology because I was interested in the field. The curriculum is designed well, and the faculty is quite approachable. Internships are encouraged, and I got a stipend of 10,000 during my internship, which was a good experience. The placement percentage is around 85%, with decent packages offered in core companies. However, the hostel facilities could be improved, as food quality is just average. Overall, CIT provides a balanced experience in education and practical exposure.

Hey everyone, I'm Sangeeth Subramoniam, a former student from the Computer Science department at Chennai Institute of Technology. Let me share a quick overview of my experience at CIT. In short, CIT is a fantastic place for students who are eager to learn and work hard towards their career goals. The college offers excellent resources, mentorship, and motivation to help you achieve your dreams. Even if you start as someone who just wants to give your best, you'll find yourself motivated to reach a great position in life.

I've watched the college grow rapidly, achieving things that other institutions, even those around for decades, haven't accomplished. I'm proud to say that the contributions of Chairman Shri. P. Shriram and all the staff played a huge role in my success. I entered as an average high school graduate with big dreams and left with a job offer in Tokyo, Japan. If you are ready to put in the work and avoid making excuses, with the right support and guidance, you too can graduate as a proud alum of this institution.

Chennai Institute of Technology is a place where you can get a solid education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The faculty is quite good, with many holding Ph.D. degrees, and they really help you understand the subject. The curriculum is beneficial, focusing on practical applications. Exams are held regularly, which keeps us on our toes.

However, the fees are on the higher side, about 2.6 lakhs per year for management quota, but the placement opportunities are quite decent, with the highest package going up to 52 LPA. Overall, it’s a good college if you’re looking to get into the engineering field.
