Honestly, my first day at MNIT Jaipur wasn't all that exciting. It felt pretty dull. I ended up chatting with two guys who were sitting on the bench behind me—we're pretty close now and hang out a lot at night. Most of the teachers just did some introductions, and a few gave tests on what we learned back in school. That was about it. Once classes were done, I felt really let down and headed back home since I'm a day scholar. Cheers.

About 35 years ago, I had my first day at MNIT Jaipur, which was then known as MREC. The campus was full of greenery and felt quite remote, far from the city. Back then, only two sectors of Malviya Nagar existed. The road from Kanodia Girls College to MREC was quiet, with no traffic at all.

Once on campus, it was like a mini version of India with young students from every state. After enrolling, we were given a bed and a locker in the dormitory. I quickly became part of a small group. Not long after, we heard that the seniors were calling for the freshers, and what followed was some light-hearted ragging that turned out to be quite fun.

My first day at MNIT Jaipur was unforgettable! I arrived for the reporting process and got assigned to the CS branch. My dad and a friend were with me. On the way, I kept wondering about MNIT. When I stepped in, I saw a path full of greenery and felt the calmness around. Students from all over were walking by. Then I saw Prabha Bhawan, and wow, it was stunning. I couldn't resist taking some photos. Oh, but I had to focus on finishing the reporting first. After that was done, we explored the campus. It's an amazing place, and I was so thrilled to be part of this college. It truly made my day!
