What is your review of FORE School of Management???

I'm currently studying at FORE School of Management, part of the 2015–17 batch. FORE has been around for 25 years, offering a unique approach to management education. Most of the faculty, about 84%, hold PhDs, and 87% have experience in the corporate world. Students and faculty travel to either Singapore or Hong Kong to gain an international business outlook. The college collaborates with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the lectures we attended there for a week were really insightful.

Being located in South Delhi, FORE provides great opportunities for students to connect with companies based in Delhi and Gurgaon. Some of the major recruiters include Deloitte, EY, PwC, Cognizant, Infosys, and Tata Motors, among others.

Besides the International Immersion Programme in Singapore, the college offers a student exchange program during the third trimester. This program allows students to study at ESC Rennes School of Business in France, providing a chance to learn about business practices in different countries and cultures.

I chose to study the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Big Data Analytics) at FORE because of my interest in analytics and technology. The faculty-to-student ratio here is decent, which allows for better interaction and support. The curriculum is well-structured, covering important topics like Python and machine learning.

Exams are held every two months, and I find them manageable as long as I stay on top of my studies. There are also good internship opportunities, with companies like Deloitte and EY coming to recruit. The average stipend for internships has been around INR 30,000, which is decent. However, the campus size is a bit small, and I wish there were more outdoor spaces for activities.

I graduated from FORE School of Management, and it's a pretty good business school. Most students find jobs after graduating, but the average salary isn't as high as some might hope. If you're proactive, you might land a job with an 8 lakh annual package. The faculty is a bit uneven, with marketing professors generally stronger than those in finance. So, if you're aiming for top finance roles, this might not be the place for you. All in all, it's a solid choice for those with no more than a couple of years of work experience.

I am currently pursuing the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (International Business) at FORE School of Management, and I can say that the faculty here is quite impressive. Most of them hold PhDs from reputed institutes like IITs and IIMs, which adds a lot of value to our learning experience.

The curriculum is structured and rigorous, with exams taking place every two months. So far, I've learned a lot about the international market, and the faculty's real-world insights make a significant difference.

However, the internship opportunities are somewhat limited, with only about 50% of students securing internships through the college. Overall, I'm enjoying my time here, but I feel that the internship process could be improved.

If you're already employed and considering FORE as an option, it's best not to enroll. For fresh graduates from Delhi, joining might be okay, but it's wiser to spend another year preparing for a better school. The placement committee there isn't very ethical and often uses questionable methods to secure top jobs for themselves. You might see impressive company names in their placement reports, but those companies might not actually show up on campus. So, think carefully before deciding.

Scoring well in exams like CAT or XAT is crucial, and it's better not to choose this college. The infrastructure is quite lacking, with unhelpful rules and an ineffective PGP office. Many of the good faculty members have left, too. There's no hostel, which makes group assignments challenging. Many local students leave quickly, leaving you to scramble for project submissions. Hostel residents tend to form their own groups, adding to the difficulties. It's a tough environment, but not in a good way.

Make a smart choice. Aim for a top-tier college or even consider studying abroad, but joining FORE might not be the best decision.
