Hey students,
I’m on the academic conference council at this institute and also help with admissions. Recently, a parent sent us an email that really hit the nail on the head. The senior management is made up of older folks from government backgrounds who seem out of touch with today's world. They aren’t business leaders and don’t get the corporate scene. The board is more interested in money, and the current director feels powerless, like Manmohan Singh without Sonia Gandhi’s say-so. While the education is top-notch, the school’s corporate ties are weakening each year.
To the Fore Team, I’m happy to say my daughter got into Fore School of Management this year. As a former Naval Officer who served the country, I hope my thoughts are taken seriously. I'm unsure if my daughter should attend Fore. My nephew, an alum, is embarrassed about what the college has become. Here are some concerns from her and her friends, hoping for answers and improvements. Owning mistakes and being ethical is a core management lesson.
Swift action could correct these mistakes if I’ve opened any eyes. After writing this, I’ve decided not to send my daughter to this institute. Best of luck.
FORE is a great place for studying management. I graduated back in 2000, and I found the teachers to be really excellent. My classmates were incredibly smart, and the location of the college is quite convenient. Overall, it's a solid choice.
I would rate the FORE School of Management quite positively. The faculty is top-notch, with most professors holding Ph.D. degrees, which really helps in understanding complex topics. I’m pursuing PGDM (International Business) and the dual specialization option is a big plus. The curriculum is rigorous, with exams every two months, but that prepares us well for the real world. The placement opportunities are decent; many reputed companies visit the campus for internships and final placements. The overall environment is supportive, and I feel like I'm gaining valuable skills for my career.
I would rate the FORE School of Management as a solid option for PGDM, especially if you're interested in International Business. The course is intensive and requires you to manage multiple subjects with frequent exams, which can be tough but also rewarding. I’ve seen various companies like ITC and Deloitte come for placements, and the average package stands around 14 LPA.
The faculty is mostly well-qualified, but sometimes the knowledge transfer could be better. The campus life could be improved too, as it feels a bit cramped at times. Overall, it’s a good experience if you’re willing to work hard.
My experience at the FORE School of Management while doing PGDM (Big Data Analytics) has been largely positive. The faculty is highly qualified, and their teaching methods include case studies which make learning practical. The placement record is impressive, with the highest package reaching up to 24 LPA.
The average package is around 15 LPA, which is quite good for a college in this tier. I also appreciate the availability of scholarships for deserving students. However, the campus is a bit small, which limits some extracurricular activities. Overall, I think it's a good choice for anyone wanting to enter the analytics field.
