I think Sri Venkateswara College is a great choice, especially if you're pursuing a B.Com. The faculty is really knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about helping students understand the material. I've paid around Rs 21,000 for my first year, which is pretty reasonable compared to other colleges.

The campus life is vibrant, with events like Nexus that really bring everyone together. The placement cell is active, and while I haven't sat for placements yet, I've heard good things about the opportunities available, especially with companies like Deloitte and KPMG visiting. Overall, I feel like SVC has a solid reputation and a supportive environment for students.

You can definitely count on Sri Venkateswara College. It's one of the top choices in DU and has an excellent and supportive faculty. It's the only college on the South Campus that has a hostel for both boys and girls, which is much better than most PGs, though getting a spot there can be tough. The college and hostel buildings are really well maintained.

Sri Venkateswara offers courses in Science, Arts, and Commerce. You'll find a large library, seminar hall, and auditorium. It's also great for sports, with people coming to play cricket on Sundays. Fun fact: Rishabh Pant is an alumnus! The campus is full of greenery, and the crowd is fantastic—being a student there, I can vouch for it. It's located in the South Campus, which makes handling official work pretty easy. The college has 4 ICT Labs and well-equipped science labs. There are many societies, like dance (both Indian and Western), singing, film, and writing, where you can really explore your interests. Plus, there's an annual inter-department sports event. Unlike North Campus, elections here are calm and organized.

Right across from the college is Satya Niketan, a bustling market area filled with cafes that draw people from all over Delhi. The DD South Campus metro station (Pink Line) is conveniently located just behind the college. Overall, Sri Venkateswara College is a fantastic choice. Go for it! Best of luck!

Sri Venkateswara College has been a good fit for me, especially in terms of the B.Com program. The curriculum covers a lot of relevant topics that prepare us for the real world, but I feel there could be more practical exposure. I paid around Rs 22,000 for my course, which is manageable. The placement opportunities seem decent, with many companies participating in the internship fair, and I’m looking forward to applying for internships soon. The campus is lively, and the annual fest Nexus is a highlight, making the college experience enjoyable.

I'm in my second year at ANDC, and I've really settled into its culture. I didn't apply to Venkateswara, not even during the cutoffs, so I can't say much about it.

Before deciding on a college, consider these things: Does the college offer the course you want? Is the fee structure within your budget? Is the campus atmosphere welcoming? You might want to chat with some seniors to get their perspective.

Both colleges have their strengths. I picked ANDC because I wanted to study biomedical science, which they provide. I'm not favoring any college here; the decision is totally yours. And hey, welcome to DU!

From my experience, Sri Venkateswara College is a good option if you're looking for a B.Com degree. The faculty is approachable and mostly Ph.D. holders, which helps in understanding complex topics. The fees are around Rs 20,000 for the first year, and while there has been a slight hike, it's still affordable. The placement opportunities are quite good, with well-known companies coming to recruit. The college life is active, especially during the Nexus fest, which brings a lot of energy to the campus. Overall, I would recommend SVC for its solid academic environment and vibrant campus life.
