I'm in a similar boat. I got into RICS, Mumbai for Project Management this year, and I was super nervous, especially with the Covid situation in Mumbai. But I chose to push ahead. Think of it this way: if you got a job offer from a top company, would you hesitate as much? Maybe taking an extra year off seems okay to some, but I don't think it's the best idea.

If you're currently working, that's cool because you probably know a lot about the construction field by now. But if you're not working or just starting out, then I personally think you should take the opportunity. So, my advice is to go for it! Keep your focus and be patient.

From what I know, you probably won't need to be on campus right away. Classes might be online for at least the next six months to a year, and tests could be too. Let's hope things get better soon, and we can all get back to how things were. Best of luck with your career!

They all speak highly of NICMAR's ACM program. It's a well-respected course in the civil industry. Although starting salaries might not be as high as in IT or software, that's pretty normal. Having this course on your resume will definitely benefit you in the long run, giving you an advantage over others. Plus, NICMAR grads are often preferred over regular MBA holders in the civil sector.
