How is the BE/B.Tech at IIT Delhi? What are the placement opportunities and rankings for this branch??

Hi, everyone! Today, I'm excited to share the placement scenario of IIT Delhi in 2022. In 2022, almost every company visited and offered high CTCs to students. IIT Delhi broke its own placement record!

According to the official report, a total of 1,250 offers were made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2022. This is the highest number of offers ever received. The report also mentioned around 180 PPOs. Seven students opted for deferred placements (for startups and entrepreneurship) in Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2021-22. Additionally, 40 international offers were made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2021-22.

According to another media report, 60 offers with salary packages of INR 1 Crore per annum were made on Day One of IIT Delhi placements 2021-22.

Being a B.Tech student in Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi is an experience like no other. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering everything from Organic Chemistry to Process Design. The faculty is really supportive and has a wealth of research experience. I'm currently looking forward to the campus placements starting in the 7th semester. Companies like Microsoft and TCS are visiting for recruitment, and the placement rate is around 85%, which is reassuring. Regarding placements, around 85% of students get placed, with companies like Amazon, Google, and Goldman Sachs scouting for talent. This year, the campus saw over 1300 offers which is impressive!
