Is it worth doing a BBA from LPU or not? What are its placement records and whats your experience with this college so far?

I’m currently studying BBA at LPU, and I think it’s totally worth it! The faculty members are experienced and approachable, making it easy to grasp the concepts. The college has a great infrastructure and there’s always something happening on campus. We have an annual fest called Youth Vibe, which is super fun. Also, companies like Goldman Sachs and Microsoft come for placements, and the college really prepares us for that with communication skills training and mandatory internships in our second last year. The fees are reasonable, and there are scholarship options available, which helps a lot.

Honestly, pursuing a BBA from LPU has been a fulfilling experience for me. The course curriculum is practical and well-structured, which is perfect for someone like me who came from a business background. The faculty is incredibly supportive, and they even encourage student startups, which shows how invested they are in our success. It's also great that there are various companies like Amazon and Google coming to campus for internships and placements. With a fee of around 160,000 annually, I find it quite affordable compared to other colleges. I completed my BBA Hons from Lovely Professional University this year. I didn't sit for placements, but a few students did, and here's what I gathered from their experiences.

• If you go for placements after BBA, there’s a 90% chance you’ll get a job.
• However, the salary packages are generally between 1.8 lakhs to 3 lakhs, which is quite low in the long run.
• Most students who received job offers accepted them and worked for a while. Only one continued for more than 6 months.
• The main issue was the long working hours—around 10 hours a day—with low pay. Many skipped their last semester to work, and once they graduated, they quit.
• Only one student stayed on after graduation, mainly because he didn’t want to study anymore and landed a package of 3.96 lakhs, which is rare. Only two students received offers over 3.5 lakhs.

I wouldn’t recommend going for placements after BBA unless you have no other options. There’s a new trend in companies...
