For studying life science subjects, the college atmosphere is very good. The greenery of the campus always kreps your mind and body fresh. Campus is far away from the noicefull environment. No such negative points according to me.

The course provided by university is very broad and also helpful in various national level competitive examinations. Semester- wise examination pattern has been adopted by the university, total 4 semesters, two per year. Each subject will be having two type of exams, one is theoretical and another one is practical. Previous years question papers can be downloaded from the university website.

At the end of 3rd semester, several industries from the gujarat are invited for the campus interview to recruit final year students. Each year 10-15 students are selected in the campus interview for direct placement into the pharmaceutical industries. College does not provide internships to the students.

The college has one internal committee called SPUBS ( Sardar Patel University Biological Society) which conducts various curricular and co-curricular activities throughout the year. The events celebrated are listed as below: SPUBS inauguration ceremony, Fresher's Party, Science day, Butterfly walk (identification, study and photography of butterflies), Ganesh sthapna (usually 3-5 days), Navratri celebration, Food festival, Blood donation camp, Walk to sardar house (vidyanagar to karamsad), Rangoli competition, Scietoon competition, Photography competition, Farewell party, Annual day celebration.

College is having only self finance seats for biotechnology. All the other courses are having two type of seats: grant in ais as well as self finance The fees are only little bit of expensive compared to other colleges of University. Fee: 39000/- rupees per semester (for self finance course of biotechnology)

College offers all type of government scholarships available for candidates falling under OBC/SC/ST. Also university has it's own self finance scholarship program for the candidates falling under general category and not receiving any other scholarships.

Yes, before getting admission into this college i have taken advise from my senior friend and kt was quite helpful. She described every single point of college in detail, how to get admission, what to do after completion of admission process, internal structures, all the activities and everything.

The institute is having post graduate degree cources in various subjects (microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, zoology and botany). I have applied for M.Sc biotechnology in the year 2017 through online application on the university website (http://www.spuvvn.edu). Then, the university generated subject- wise merit list for each courses. During counselling process we have asked to choose institute of our interest among all the available colleges in the university. My merit rank was 2 in all over list, so i choose B.R.D school of Biosciences for my post graduation. At the time of admission we have to deposit at least 30% of the fees of first semester, and remaining amount should be paid within a given time limit.

All the faculty members in the college are highly educated and having years of experience in particular fields. They all are adopted with the modern techniques of learning and teaching. Apart from regular classes, they remain available all the day to clear the doubts and queries related to the curriculum.
