Sanya's Review On Lovely Professional University - [LPU], Jalandhar

The course curriculum here in Lovely is quite different then other universities for all courses but I personally seem to feel as if it's really hectic and somewhat seems to be illogical, as per the law aspirants one should have practical approach more in the field of law then the regular time table of classes from 9Am to 5Pm this would lack the student's ability to face challenges outside the classroom. The Exam Structure is well revised and planned there is a proper curriculum and time gap for preparing the exams and the rules are strict too cheating and other in disciplinary actions are subjected to serious punishments. Whereas the Question papers are well set and are made on the average level for both the intelligent and the dull Students. There are options for the Reappear Exams and Improvement Exams, thus encouraging the students to improve well on the subjects though there is a fee to be paid for each exam.

The placements and job opportunities are highest for students in B.TECH, Agriculture or Hotel Management but as per the law placements the opportunities are not so high and there are very less ways to get hired by the companies or forms authorised by the college itself. About the internships it's not solely based on college they provide internships if it's under their area otherwise you need to find it on your own. As per the internship with college is concerned I have yet not experienced any such and neither I have heard about someone getting paid for the internship organised by the college.

Events that are popular and most enjoyed are One India One World Cart Racing and The Celeb Shows. These are some events that make Lovely so famous for. The others are Splitsvilla DJ nights Bhangra World Record Game Tournaments Such as Hockey Football and more These all events are organised nad coordinated by the faculties and the students themself like the recent one where Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt entered the crowd of LPU. One would really feel fascinated and excited to see the huge campus with such great Celebs in their everyday routine.

The fee structure is in the mid of feasible and expensive The fees is quite affordable but the expenses incurred within the college for food mess internal study expenses and other facilities are quite breath taking. One needs to really pay a lot when staying within the premises of the college

There are scholarship and loans facilities available for students. During the admission there is the scholarship Test that I indeed availed and got an okay scholarship too. The loan facility is also available for students who cannot afford the fees load.

Thousands of extra curricular activities happen in LPU that students didn't even know it happened everyday ever hour there is gonna be an upcoming announcement for some or the other event happening in the college. There is no break for extra curricular activities though almost every department has classes from 9-5 which surely doesn't allow students to participate in such activities or focus on any sports event as things need time and the cirriculum doesn't support time table for extra curricular activities.

As per my opinion the Hostel facilities are unbearable if one has to survive in LPU you surely gonna opt for being a day scholar. As per my thinking it's okay for your body to walk a Km more to reach your home than for your body to consume unhealthy atmosphere and surroundings. What I really meant by the saying is the food and facilities are absolutely horrible one can feel so depressed just by spending a day with the mess food and for the canteen it's really headache to think what to eat everyday when all you have is fast-food or the same thali to eat. The living conditions are even worse you can't consider your room a room it's small conjusted and unbelievably dirty(though some of the rooms are quite good but for the better ones the prices sky rockets) It's better to stay outside and enjoy life because you have got time for yourself after 5 in the evening and all you'll be thinking about is getting back to the hostel before the clock ticks 6(as per the girls hostel)

Everyone is quite so busy with their own schedules that they barely find time to help others but still the faculties and some seniors are of great help and became huge parts of our lives not as seniors or teachers but as friends that stand by our sides in need.

I filled up for the college entrance and went for the scholarship Test and got my exam cleared with an okay amount of scholarship i.e 70000 per year but due to late admission it got deducted by 10000 and my scholarship fee came to 60000.I paid the fees and that's how I got admission in the college.

The faculty of the college is quite impressive there is so much variations One could not expect this much type of diversities at a certain place. Teachers from everywhere across India are here Some with absolute best talents and others are formidable opponents. Each one are specialised in their fields and some excel in others fields too. Every piano has both the black and white keys thus there are faculties you'll find the least attractive in every aspects whether it's as an educator, motivator, leader or as helper.
