Good college for computer science students

I would like to give some positive remarks about my college (a) a safe, professional and friendly learning environment; (b) high quality teaching, assessment and management of learning; (c) regular and reliable feedback on student progress and achievements; (d) mechanisms for students to pursue grievances and learning related issues as required.

Course curriculum is good. There are three exams in a semester. Sessional 1, sessional 2 and pre university test. The attendance criteria of sessional 1 is 75% and sessional 2 is 70% and for pre university test is 65%.

Placement of NIET is very good infact it is one the top college in knowledge Park which is having a placement record of maximum students with good packages. Last year a student placed in amazon with a package of 18 lakh p.a.

There are limited number of events and fests in this college which includes treasure hunt event related to technologies like programming contests, artificial intelligence For example, an AI matchmaking engine could interpret data from the social media profiles of attendees.

Fee structure is not so much expensive as many students get their fees back in the form of scholarship and the first 3 rank holder of every branch will get price money as a reward also fee waiver categories students will get fee concession if they are a good rank holder in JEE MAINS.

Student Government:-Colleges are impressed by students with leadership skills. Academic Teams and Clubs:-Joining an academic club or team shows that you’re passionate about learning and gaining a competitive advantage. The Debate Team:-Students on the debate team are more likely to be engaged in the issues of today, able to think critically on their feet and are not afraid to speak out – all qualities that colleges look for in prospective students.

The lectures were conducted well and the class discussions were highly interactive with inputs and insights being shared.The lecture notes are precise and the content is really interesting.Very stimulating teaching style. Case studies classes very interesting.

Direct admission. First the percentage of your 12 boards must be minimum 75% then three types of test are there. First aptitude, second English and then last there is maths test. First two exams are computer based and maths test is a pen paper based test in which you will have to score minimum 70%. At last an interview is done based on the branch you will choose.

Faculties of NIET are good. Their behaviour and responsibilities for students are good. Knowledge of faculties is very good. All faculties are well educated and their concern for students are excellent.
