Amity University kolkata is all on all a good college but totally depends on the need of the students. What a student actually want from the college and so you need to behave the same.The college is a Hi-tech college with good infrastructure and facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its good to study here. we have best faculty. there 2 semesters a year every semester has one internal and one external exam. To sit in a exam it require, 75% of attendance. Attendence have marks 100 is 5 marks then, 90- 4 like this this marks is added in internal.
Placement Experience
Yes. our college provide best internship if possible. I got internship this year in and international export house Ra international. we were there in a designing group, other also got some under designer, some in VM.
College Events
Our college in famous for celebration. They celebrate every single thing to Republic day to new year cake mixing. we have freshers party party and farewells. Mahalaya in durga puja. dewali celebration etc. every department and clubs have there up comming fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it depends on which department you want to opt. Some departments have lesser fee compare to national institutes some are very expensive as the teaching service and quality, college have many labs like GC lab, Textile lab, Pattern making lab etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Amity University kolkata gives 100% scholarship to the students scored more than 97% in 12th boards and there is also category for the National sports participants and medal winners. there is no loan facilities from college.
Campus Life
Many events goes and comes as there are more then 15 clubs and each club organise at least 3 events each year and there is no restrictions to participate in any event. Once in a year there is all Amity sports event called Sangathan.
Hostel Facilities
If you opted for hostel is very nice and clean. but a bit expensive but "paisa wasul" i must say full time Ac.one room have two bedroom each rooms has 2 beds. our campus has three canteens and one cafe. 24 hours free WiFi. Our Amity kolkata has hitch campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alummis are very helpful and friendly they tried to give as much as they can. All faculties are very professional and down to earth They are always available for helps. They are not just responsible for teaching and learning they give much more than that our faculties make us face the real world.
Admission
One entrance exam and one interview round. in our questions course related questions are asked. they will to sketch or to design to check your Creative ability. secondly one easy is given to test your ability in English. they will give you 100-200 words to answer. it will be 3 hours question
Faculty
Our faculty is well presentable and professional. they are very good at there work. they will make you work very hard here. they are a guide here other things we have to do. every teacher will take one one classes.
