Literally If I say then I have no negative remarks about the college. The college is trying its best to offer maximum benefit to the college. The college faculties are very hard working and dedicated towards the students. But we all know that every college has some negative and positive remarks. So, in my opinion only the negative part of the college is its undeveloped infrastructure. The buildings are not of the modern design and they look old. Although the buildings are being renovated. Apart from that the college don't have proper platform for the students who want to go for the exams like GATE, GRE etc.

Placement of the college is not excellent but is upto the mark. The college administration is working very hard to bring more and more companies to the college. The current placement percentage of the college is 60 - 70%. Recently, Centre of excellence is established in the college in which many advanced laboratories are being established so there would be the overall development of the students.

There are many technical and cultural fests organised by the college. The technical fest includes SANDHAAN, TECH UDHBHAV, TRIVENI which is organised by different technical clubs of the college. Many colleges take participation in the fest with great interest. The technical fest are usually organised in the month of march. The college also organises the FOYC ( Fresher Of The Year ) contest in which there is lot of branch wise competitions. One more cultural event which is one of the most awaited event for all the students is BITAANSH. Bitaansh is a cultural cum mega fest of the college which is organised by the ARTS CLUB OF BIT SINDRI. It is a 3 day cultural event organised in the month of november every year. Apart from all these we have also SPANDHAN and SAMARPAN which are photography and painting based cultural event organised by the PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB and PAINTING CLUB OF BIT SINDRI. The college organises sport event SPARDHA in the month of january every year.

The fee structure of the college is very much feasible. The overall fee for the 4 year btech course is around 2 lakh which means 50k per year. BIT SINDRI is one of the top ranked college in term of INVEST TO RETURN all over india. It is ranked as one of the best engineering college of jharkhand and eastern india which offers state of the art education to the student at such nominal fees.

The college provide the merit basis scholarship to the students. There is also financial support to the student coming from weaker economic background. The overall toppers of each branch are awarded with some cash prizes and certificate.

The college has good sports facilities. There is separate ground for boys and girls students which are close to their hostel premises. The college has a gymnasium with trainer to give better fitness advises to the gym freaks. The gymnasium membership fee is very low and is easily feasible. The laboratories are state of the art. The outdated labs are being renovated and are equipped with latest industrial components. Earlier, the condition of the labs is not good and machines in the labs were not in the working condition but now almost every lab have been renovated and machines are replaced with latest technology.

The hostel condition is very good. The college charge only 7000/-( 5000/- for hostel maintenance + 2000/- for electricity ) per year. The mess food is good and is cooked in the healthy condition. Each hostel has a security and wardens are appointed to solve out any type hostel issues like sanitation, water supply etc. The college provide 24 x 7 electricity and water supply to the hostel. So overall I will rate 9/10.

The alumni network of the college is vast. The college was started in early 1949 and placement of the college for the next 40 - 50 years was more than 100%. So, we can figure out the rough sketch of alumni network of the college. Every year, alumni meet is organised by the college. The alumni of the college are very helpful and also provided financial support to the many weaker economic background student whenever it was needed. The alumni has also provided the finance support to the college when it was at its worst condition. They are always ready to help the students in every aspect may it be training or internship.

I appeared for the JCECE 2017 and secured cml rank of 2233. After that there was JCECEB counselling for the selection of the courses in different state engineering institutes. Seats are made available to the candidates as per their cml rank in the exam. After the selection of course in BIT Sindri I was asked to come to the college for the final admission as per the instructions published in the college website.

There are excellent number of the faculty members in the college. Recently, the college has recruited many PTL ( part time lecturer ). The professor to student ratio of the college in around 25 : 1 which is an excellent ratio. The faculty members are well experienced and they have a very good teaching attitude. Apart from that they also provide mentorship to the needy students and help them achieve their goal.
