Remarks

Positive: Great campus, competent faculties always ready to help, if you are willing to ask for help. Exams structure is quite good too. Negative: Poor management, T&P cell needs a lot of improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Mechanical engineering is a tough course, so requires a lot of assistance from the faculties and designed course. Syllabus of the course was suffice to the need of the current academia but not to the current market needs. The practicals were not effective and hands on approach were minimum. So overall it was 5.5/10

Placement Experience

2

T&P cell of the college is a work in progress, it's getting better as each year goes by. I was placed in a non-mechanical enterprise (which I didn't joined) with a starting salary of 17k/month (CTC). During my final year,One or two companies only came regarding core mechanical recruitment with below average salary packages. In the range of rupees 80k-100k PA CTC. Which wasn't satisfactory at all. But as mentioned situation have changed and good companies are now visiting the campus.

College Events

3

An annual sports fest and an annual tech fest, in which all college can participate. Then individual branches hosts events and seminars a.to. the demands and needs. For example I participated in two Mechanical events I.e. innovation in nanotechnology and ADMECH-1. THESE two focussed on advanced technology and sustainable development respectively. One thing that will intrest students is the outings such as factory visits and plant visits in nearby Ghaziabad and Faridabad area.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible compared to its rivals. There may be changes in the current fee structure, but when I was a student it cost me around 4 lacs rupees(only tution fees, hostel not included) in all the 4 years combined. There is also the fee waiver scheme for minorities with low annual income.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was not eligible for scholarship as my parents annual income was above the mentioned criteria in availing scholarships. And unfortunately there were no loan facility provided by the college either. For loans students and parents have to workout themselves, although there is a bank right next to the college gate.

Campus Life

4

Labs were below average, though students are allowed to show their creativity in the workshops but HODs are a necessary thing in this. College have its own annual sports fest, which comprised of both indoor and outdoor activities. Providing the college has a lush green open campus sports are a delight here. But it's hard to play during college hours since academics is given prime importance. Hostel students. Are allowed to play. There is a basketball court in the campus too.

Alumni/Alumna

I was blessed with good seniors, they were helpful throughout college years, although they couldn't help much because the resources were able ek for them too. As far as alumni are concerned far and few interaction with them. They were only seen on college's annual alumni meet giving out advices and not much more.

Admission

Got to know about the college through a relative and then went direct to the college and discussed the admission process. I was granted admission on direct basis seeing my 12th and 10th standard scores.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are the only thing that helped in sustaining the college. The college has a rich and well designated alumnus so faculties are aware of the level of education needed to sustain that, but we're not well supported by the college management, though as I was in y last year the conditions begam to improve and I hear that management is now much more proactive in providing what's best for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
