Remarks
This is Sikh minority college so the majority of students are sikh and people who belong to Sikh community get into college even with poor rank in jee. But you will find many other students who are not Sikh with high calibre.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is same as any other college. The students are given books from college itself. Syllabus is vast but not in depth and detail. They conduct 5 exams in year which includes 2 mid semester exams, 2 final semester exams and 1 full year exam.
Placement Experience
Again as I said I am a first year student so I haven't experienced myself that but as told by seniors and teachers one student last year got placed in Amazon with 28 lakhs of package and 2 years ago a student of EC also secured rank 8 in IES.
College Events
They organize various events like sports,culture and dance but most of them are held once in 3 to 4 years. Although the GGSIPU university conducts various events and competition among all of their colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is normal being a self financing college. It's almost 1 lakh per year. From which 40,000 is taken by the university every year. The fees includes tution fee and books fee. The rules of taking fee is all follwed as orders given by university GGSIPU.
Fees and Financial Aid
All the scholarship are availed according to GGSIPU rules besides that loans are given to students. Infact Punjab national bank ismost suitable for all the college work as it is besides college location and all the work is done through PNB accounts mostly.
Campus Life
There are various and when I say various there are literally various socities in college who participate in different competition all around India.They also go in Delhi university and IITs. Labs are all in working conditions and they are fully air conditioned but teachers only assign you experiment rest is upto you.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network is ok ok. Not much of acive alumni is present in college but ipu/GGSIPU have good alumni system. I don't remember any seniors talking about that either. Though workshops are conducted every weekend.
Admission
The college is affilated with GGSIPU (Indraprastha university) so they conduct joint counselling which includes all the courses and colleges.The college takes admission on the basis of jee mains ranking.The number of students applied are shortlisted on the basis of their jee rank and their preferences in choice of branch.
Faculty
I am a first year students so I don't know about seniors but all of my teachers are well educated, experienced and good in teaching. They are strict about attendance and assignments. They want you to be interactive and even parents teacher meeting is also held for students evaluation.
