SKIT is a decent college

SKIT college is a RTU affiliated college and including B.tech, courses like M.tech, Pnarmay, MBA and Ph.ed are also here and they are also as good as B.tech. In B.tech there are 6 branches named as CS, IT, EC, EE, MECHANICAL and CIVIL and five of these are NBA affiliated which makes college more impressive.

Course curriculum of RTU has changed in last 2 years.New subjects have been introduced like technical communication, Biology, etc. but I personally think that it's good for the future because communication helps us very much during our placements time.The exam structure is also changed in RTU and the newly named system is the credit system, in which subjects are divided into 2,3 or 4 credits and each credit is of 50 marks.

Placement and job opportunities are very good in our colleges. From last two years, approximately 800 students were placed in almost 35 companies and also the average package is of 4-5 lac. and the highest package is of 12 lac.

There are many types of events which takes place in SKIT. I am listing them as follows from the starting to end of the year. 1. Aagaaz(Inaugural of first year). 2. Orientation and Club orientation. 3. Abhivadan(Teacher's day celebration). 4. SKIT got Talent. 5. Fresher's Party 6. Children's day Celebration. 7. Footloose (Intracollege dance competition). 8. College annual Sports fest. 9. Thirak (College annual event).

The fee structure is according to RTU and it is according to me is feasible as compared to other private colleges which have approximately 3-4 lac per year fee. So I think it will the best private college which is affiliated by RTU.

Yes, scholarship are given to students on the basis of their marks in semester as compared to the whole branch students and also there is seat system know SFS and TFWS. In SFS seats, students pay full fee and in TFWS seats, a particular amount is deducted from the original fee. But the TFWS seats has some restrictions i.e., it has a condition that your parent's salary should be less than 6 lac and it also needs a particular JEE percentile.

Extracurricular activities are quiet good in this college. Time to time competitions in different sports are held in this college. Mainly competition are held during the annual fest of the college and prizes are given in different categories.

Alumini meets are held in the colleges and conferences are held in which Senior students share there life after the college and those students are also called which have been in to good job after the college in every field.

There was an admission process named as REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) which contains all the colleges affiliated by RTU and in this process, l students fill there 12th percentage and JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) marks and you have to fill your 3 topmost choice of colleges and branch which comes under RTU. After the last date of form filling. 2-3 merit list comes which allots the students in different colleges on the basis of there 12th marks and JEE marks. Also a amount of Rs.10,000 is asked during the form filling of REAP which is further added to your fee of the college you have been alloted.

Faculty of our college is supportive and they have the knowledge of the subject deeply. The best thing about SKIT faculty is that it teaches students in the students way i.e., they will be good to you while they are teaching.
