Positive remarks - 1. Only one college in asia specialised for foundry and forge technology. 2. If you are not able to get our desirable branch in IITs, NITs then it is best option to choose. 3. A institute with good environmental campus. 4. Since less no. of students in this college, you will get more opportunities. 5.Academic examination is not that much tough so you can easily look for your other hobbies. Negative remark - 1. unknown college, even Ranchi people will not about our college. 2. Slow administrative work. 3. less no. of good faculty. 4. Less no. of girls in comparision to boys. 5.Burden of responsibilities.

B.TECH students have two departments - 1. metallurgy and materials engineering 2. manufacturing engineering. There will be 8 semester for each departments, you will have to go through class tests, viva, mid-semester and end-semester. At the end of the course you will be given credit points out of 200,according to your academic performance.

At first, I would like to discuss about internship criteria - There is one faculty member specially selected for this in both department and you will have also student placement co-ordinaters for this. you will be allotted for internship in 2nd and 3rd year most probably in SAIL( Bokaro, Rourkela, Vizag, Burnpur, Bhilai), HEC(Ranchi), RDCIS(Ranchi). Now let me discuss about placement & job opportunities - keep in mind this institute is unknown in india, but the placement record is comparable to NITs ( For same departments) approx 90%. Average package is approx 4.76 LPA and highest package is 14 LPA ( As par previous 2 year record). The most famous recruitment companies are - TATA MOTORS, VEDANTA LIMITED, HINDALCO, ENDURANCE LIMITED, KPMG, ASHOK LEYLAND, TATA HITACHI, TATA CUMMINS.

You will have lot of events to celebrate, learn and enjoy. Most famous among them is JINKS- PRANAV. JINKS is basically cultural fest and pranav is technical fest. some event under which is mentioned below - BAND-NIGHT, CELEBRITY-NIGHT, DJ-NIGHT, THIRKAN, PARIDHAN, SPOTLIGHT, OPEN-MIC, INFORMALS, NUKKAD, ROBO-WAR.etc. Apart from this we have - JANMASHTAMI, HINDI-DIWAS, SWACHHATA PAKHWADA, GANESH- CHATURTHI, VASANT-PANCHAMI.

Fee structure is quite feasible. For each semester, you will have to pay 25,600. So, total amount will be 25,600 * 8 = 2,04,800. And mess of this institute is private, so for each month you have to pay approx 3000.

For top 10 students according to their CGPA basis will be provided their tuition fee for each semester around 17,000 i.e, for each year you will be given 34,000, if you are worthy student. But some criteria is there related to parent's income and government job. You can also apply for state government scholarship like e-kalyan in jharkhand. SC, ST students have special provision for scholarship through central government. You can also take loan from NIFFT canara bank after submitting required documents.

lots of clubs available in our institute like - NIFFT football club, NIFFT cricket club, NIFFT volleyball club, NIFFT ensemble, NIFFT anagha, NIFFT racing, NIFFT gymkhana committee. Each club will teach you something like- discipline, team co-ordination, team work, time management, team co-operation. we have one most famous non-government organisation called KARTAVYA, which is started by our beloved seniors in 2007. In which we have two center - hatia and tupudana. Every day we go there and try to teach around 100 student in hatia and around 40 student in tupudana.We also sponsor some worthy students for their school study. Apart from that they also made involve in our some college events. we have different matellurgical labs and work-shop.

There are 6 hostels in this institute - 1. NIRALA CHATRAWAS(for 1st year students), 2.HOMI J. BHABHA CHATRAWAS(for 2nd year students and ADC students), 3. M. V. CHATRAWAS(for 3rd year student and M.TECH students), 4. J C B CHATRAWAS(for final year students and M.TECH students), 5. KALPANA CHAWLA CHATRAWAS( for girls), 6. VIKRAM S B AMBALA CHATRAWAS(now it is a guest house). The best hostel among them is NIRALA CHATRAWAS. Living there is like living in heaven.and HOMI J. BHABHA CHATRAWAS is worst. All general facilities are available in these hostels, like- mirror, geyser in washroom.Apart from that we have wi-fi facility in every hostel.You will be provided single bed room in 3rd year and final year. The campus is spread out around 67 acre, containing a play ground, lecture hall complex, faculty building, gymkhana building, nifft niwas, canteen, canara bank, auditorium, atm, red building, work-shop, library, lot of ashoka, mango, guava and different types trees. The monsoon of the campus is ecstatic. Night walking in the campus is like a dream.

Some of Our seniors and alumni are really in good position in iINDIA and also in abroad. some are in PSUs, some have their own start-up, some are CEO of any company. They always come in our campus and give guidance and motivate us and always ready to help. one of the most remarkable comment that i heard from any senior ever in my college life is that - "Don't make any g.f in our college campus, it will be fully wastage of time.At the end you will find nothing except regret."

Your admission in this college will be based on your JEE-MAIN rank. cut off for metallurgy and materials engineering is around 55,000(JEE-MAIN GENERAL RANK). cut off for manufacturing engineering is around 60,000(JEE-MAIN GENERAL RANK).

This question made me laugh.But anyways, some faculty member in this institute is exceptionally well. They will try to give all effort to make you understand in different manner.They guide and motivate you like your guardian.But, in this institute there is also some faculty member whose way of teaching is worst, seeing them you will feel that definitely they are from other planet.
