Remarks
The campus is really well maintained and also the faculty are very knowledgeable and approachable.There are always events happening and it keeps the students rejuvinated.The negative setbacks of the college is the area around as fights keep happening around the college and its quiet disturbing.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since gaming industry is not an industry which is constant,our curriculum changes every year, depending upon the lastest technology in gaming and we get taught those concepts,which according to me is a wonderful thing as we get prepared to the real world experiences.Exams are conducted every semester and each semester is evaluated by IAT AND CCE.IAT are like end term exams and CCE are evaluation of our progress throughout the semester.
Placement Experience
Since i am in the 5th semester i wpuldnt know about the placements process and opportunities. But since hearing from seniors the internship provided pay a very reasonable amount.eg:one of the senior got an intership in byjus and had an intership salary of 20k and works fulltime for 8 lakhs/per annum.But there is no 100% placements in the college,only people good at the craft are placed.
College Events
A number of events are celebrated in the college like kannada rajyotsava which is grandly celebrated and brings out the cultural aspects of the state.Ethnic day also are celebrated with much enthusiasm. We also have jam nights where people are allowed to showcass their hidden talents and perform in front of a huge crowd
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are quiet expensive, keeping in mind other reputed colleges in bangalore.For my course its 1 lakh 20 thousand,which is quiet expensive and installment option also isn't provided,which makes it difficult to pay for some students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scolarship for merit students scoring above 75% and having a family income below average by the institution itself.A lot students avail this scolarship and get scolarship for yhe given year.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are quoet good in the college.They are college teams for every sport like cricket, football etc.But the problem is travelling.The college is at hrbr layout but people in sports have to travel to the bagalur campus.Other than that the college is very supportive of extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are quiet helpful.They are in regular contact with the faculty and also are invited to give lectures.They are also very approachable and always ready to help the juniors.But the college dosent have a separate group to take care of the alumni which is very important.
Admission
Since being a science student in puc,bca gaming and mobile development provided by seamedu with partnership with Cmr had concepts of physics and maths involved.So it was an easy process for me to be opted to the course.I just had a basic interview with one of the faculty member and got selected.
Faculty
A lot of faculties are quiet friendly and are really approachble.They are always ready to share their knowledge to the students even after colleges,but the concepts are taught in a way which makes it a little bit difficult to understand and have to get help from online sources like youtube.They also are supportive of extra curriculum activities.
