The college is very strict for those who need to study and get settled its a good place but for fun, am afraid this is not the place they have the right ambiance to study and for sports, but it stops there.

No entrance test was required, selection through 12th marks i was interested in electrical from childhood further the course was said to have well equipped staff and lab facilities in this college hence the choice. There was no interview during the admission phase simple and easy process.

Power systems, Micro-controllers, Robotics, all the course was comprehensive to acomodate a lot of ICT subjects as well hence was Multi-Dimentional.

No, Internship was not offered promoted during my time but they used to provide certificates which can be used to take inplant training at various institutions i had the opportunity to experience the working of SAIL steel plant at salem, Neiveli Lignite corporation and the TNED department of Tamilnadu where I had useful insights but i was not offered any pay or stipend for that.

Placement is excellent the top corporate companies mainly IT companies fight for the day one slot. They picked up a batch of 600 ppl on day one they had a placement ratio of about 85% when i left college there should have been atleast 30-35 companies one short fall was that they did not allow to sit for second company when one is already placed.

There used to be the dept Tech fest every year they had the symposiums and the department magazine would be released every year for which i was the editor for two years. The college celebrated its culturals every year which was a grand fest the college also hold a interdeparment science exhibition and contests time to time they also conduct various inter college tech festivals.

Fees was about 75000 per year during my time the hostel fees was 20000 per year incuding food they did not charge seperately from us for the food and bus services the day scholars were also not charged food, mess or bus fees the college fees incuded the books fee as well there was just the exam fee somewhere around 600 before the semesters.

Yes the college recognized merit and used to provide scholarship based on the merit and marks obtained by the students in the semester exams they did not provide scholarship on the basis of entrance or 12th marks. But on humanitarian grounds the students have said to have got some discounts or split payment facility.

The college is excellent for both the genders it is very safe for women infact the criticism is that they do not allow much interaction between the two sexs the college is very strict in terms of descipline one is not allowed to have any electronic gadgets including mobile and laptops they are not allowed to have hostel parties the college on other hand enjoys patronage from students of various ethnicity from kashmir to kanyakumari from surat to kohima, there were students all over the college is a strict no ragging campus the college is not affiliated to political activities and hence not allowed.
