THE PRO AND CONS OF AN ENGINEERING COLLEGE

I would not remark it as best college. Neither it is totally good nor totally bad. In some aspects it is better than others and in some it is not too good. It is average overall. In recent years it is trying to get better and better with all its facilities ans surely it will give best engineers to our country.

Basically its a new college and have 3 branches civil, electrical and information technology. According to your interest you can select any of the branch and further many branches are going to be introduced soonly. I myself being a student of civil engineering can tell u only about itself. It has a higher scope in government sector. Faculty of civil engineering is also nice and practical labs are also new so some machines were missing that time but now they might be available and all the teaching and non teaching members are working hard for their students past yearour college was given award for best college as the students passed with higher percentage of marks were maximum. The entrance examination comprises of 600 marks with is divided into maths, phycics and chemistry of the level of intermediate. The examination is not merely tough but the no of students are in excess so you have to compete with them.

Taking admission in this college will give you a placement opportunity where companies come nowadays. At our times this college was at its development stages so less companies arrived but now many students are being placed in byjus, wipro etc. The placement package varies from 3 lpa to 7 lpa depending upon student's capability. Our college also provides internship. They send their students in other college to learn and experience the technologies and studies going on in other college at their own expenses but no stipend is provided to the student as this internship is provided at the end of second year and is approximately of 30-45 days.

In a single semester you will have to face two sessional exams known as ct's and finally main exams of end semester. Besides studies many more extra curricular activities goes on time to time. Yearly we have a festival where bands come to perform and entertain us. We also have cultural nights where students can perform and show their talent.we also have sports fest which is also organised once in a year where any student can participate. And students secretaries also organize events with the support of other students to find talents.

The fee structure is feasible being a government college the fees of the college is not to much and government also provides scholarships to the economically weaker students so that they can study easily. As compared to other colleges it has a average fee structure.

All the activities are presently initiated under their respective secretaries within student. Faculty head are also involved in these activities to guide the students. There are cultural events, sports events, and are day by day increasing by growing talents within the students. The sports ground is at the back side of the college where cricket football kabadi and athletics are played. All other sports are played within the campus. Practical labs are also new so some machines were missing that time but now they might be available and all lab attendants are there to help the students with the laboratory heads.

I being a hostel student knows the hostel very well. It has very spacious rooms where you are given two room partners. Within 2-3 days the sweepers come and its not much hygienic. Bathrooms are also cleaned within 2-3 days and students have to wash their clothes by themselves or they have to pay for them with ironing.

Senior students are very much helpful in our college. They are always there to help you in every aspect related to your studies, notes, semester books and all other helps related to the studies and the teachers. You should interact to the seniors, they can explain you the things within your syllabus or within the college faculty members.

After completing your intermediate examination soonly within a month or 45 days you have to appear for upsee(uttar pradesh state entrance examination), through this examination you will get admission in this college which is a state government college of uttar pradesh. After the examination a merit list of cutoff will be given from which you can be selected in this college through counselling, which is processed four or five times. At my time counselling process was not done online but now its being online being an advantage. After allotment of college you can verify your documents and take admission in this college

All the faculty members are post graduate and some of them are doctorates(phd) and they have a good knowledge of their respective subjects. One of the member is found everywhere who is little strict although everyone has a helping nature.
