Remarks
The college is very nice. Regarding the facilities it provides students, the type of knowledge they impart, the faculty, the extracurricular activities, the exposure to various ongoing things, etc. The food of the hostel mess could be better. But keeping in mind everything else, its an overall nice college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of AKTU keeps on changing. While in first year we are taught all the subjects of Applied Science Department, from second year onwards Departmental Subjects are taught to the students. These subjects deal with each and every concept of the specific branch. Exams are conducted semester wise. Every six months, University Examination is conducted and during a semester three Internal Examinations at the college level are conducted which alongwith assignments, presentations and attendance account for the Internal Marks to be used at the end of the semester.
Placement Experience
The Placement is very active and also they conduct lectures which help to groom the students so that helps them during the placements. Every branch is paid heed to and placements drives for all branches and all students are conducted. No, our college does not provide internship.
College Events
There are various events being celebrated. Technical Fest- The Innovation Day Cultural Fest- Cerebrum Sports Fest- Aarohan All the students are free to take part in the activities of the college. There are various committees and everything is organized and conducted by the students under guidance of teachers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. Apart from tution and hostel fees, a minimum amount of expenditure on Book Bank which is provided by the college and Personality Development Classes which are also for the students is charged
Fees and Financial Aid
The college felicitates two toppers of every branch yearly. Apart from that the winners of sports activities are awarded. There is no other sort of scholarship offered by the college. No loan is also offered.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities give everyone a chance to showcase their talent in their own way. The laboratories are great. Everyone gets to see practically the phenomenon and gets to operate also. Sports unit is also full fledged. The various sports basketball, cricket, badminton, squash, etc are there.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I had opted for the Hostel. Hostel rooms were good. There were clean washrooms. There is a provision for Geyser for winters. RO plant is also there alongwith Water Cooler. Free wifi is also available in the college campus and hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are extremely helpful. At whatever hour of the day you need them, they'll help with whatever is possible. Group activities can also be conducted along with seniors. The network of alumni is also very wide.
Admission
For admission in this college, you have to opt for UPSEE examination. The college is a part of SGI, but is affiliated to AKTU, Lko. So, I also took the UPSEE examination and on the basis of my rank I got this college. Then i went to the college for further process.
Faculty
The faculty is very dedicated. The best part is they totally give students the time to grasp concepts as well as keeping in touch with extra curricular activities. The faculty is friendly but at the same time imparting knowledge of their specialized subjects. They are helpful and are students' mentor in every which way possible.
