About my course

Vignan University is a very good place where you can experience lot of things which you haven't done. It helps in grooming your skills, personality, improve your knowledge, getting lifetime friends, going to trips of different states, celebrating festivals in college. The most important thing i never forget is College felicitates your parents at the time of your placement success meet and canteen food.

The course curriculum is decided by the experts of reputed food processing colleges. It covers almost every segment of food processing which is highly useful in a industry. There are 2 semesters per year. Each sem having 3 mid exams, weekend exams, final exams. Attendance marks are included for evaluation

There is a 75-85% placement record. Many reputed companies comes and hire the students like TCS, cabgemini, mahindra, HCL, omics international, ITC, some banks etc. college helps in getting internship from any company and if student wants a particular company college faculty will helps in getting through the company. Some companies provide stipend it's completely based on students performance.

At our college we celebrate freshers day, departmental fests, fudo destino, srujanankura, academic pentathlon, sportsmeet, Mahotsav celebrated at national level. Every festival of different cultures and religions are celebrated in the presence of Shri.Lavu rathayya director of vignans University. Each year convocation is celebrated and farewell parties too.

It is feasible. Every year it changes.At my time it was rs.75000 per year excluding some fixed deposit and admission fee and seat allotment fee. Every year it goes on increasing. To My immediate juniors it was increased to Rs.10000-20000.

College will definitely provide you a scholarship on the basis of your performance. If you get a good rank in entrance tests college will reduce the fee upto 85% on the basis of your score in EAMCET or neet or Vsat

College is having various clubs like musical, sports, photography, debate, Travel. Every week an hour in a day is for clubs to improve the students extracurricular activities. One can avail these benefits after class hours there will be no restrictions for practicing after class hours. Lab hours are 3 days a week of 2-3hrs per day based on the subject and faculty.

Till now there is no so such good network of alumni. But i heard college is working on it. There is no ragging and seniors are helpful and friendly. All can go to industrial tours a week there they visit industries, famous places.

One has to write NEET or Vsat( college entrance exam) that is conducted every year. based on the rank the seat can be allocated. If one gets a good rank College will waive the amount of fee. I got admission through eamcet

Most of the faculty are from NIFTEM some are from IIT's. faculty are experienced and friendly they are very much helpful and knowledgeable. They can clear your doubts at any time. They guide you through projects. One mentor is alloted for 10students who can see their whole behaviour both academic and non academic point of view.
