Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty nice. This is an autonomous institution affiliated under VTU which have the authority to fix its own syllabus and exam based on the guidelines by the Vishweshwaraiah Technological University (VTU). Course will be common for all the branches only in the first year, each branch will have its own course curriculum in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. 2nd and 3rd year students have 2 self study projects on each semester where they have to study on their own on a certain topic and do a mini-project(seminar/simulation/hardware representation). 4th year students will have a major project in the last semester. There will be two semesters per year and thereby making 8 semesters to complete Engineering course. Each semester will have 3 internal examinations where marks of best 2 out of 3 will be considered for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) which will have 50% contribution on final makes. Each internal exam is conducted for 40 marks on each subject. Each semester is followed by a Semester End Examination (SEE) which is conducted for 100 marks which will have 50% contribution on final marks.
Placement Experience
Placement & Job opportunities are plenty in our college. For Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and Information Science branches, the placement Percentage is almost 90%. Admission
I have attended Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET or CET 2017) which was conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). I got 732 Karnataka Rank in this entrance exam. Then I have continued my option entry process and counseling till 2nd extended Round. Then I got this college in 2nd extended Round with Electronics and Communication Engineering branch(College Code - E003).
Faculty
Faculty of this college comprises of professors who have done their Post Graduation (M.Tech/M.E/MBA/MSc) or PhD. Most of them are kind hearted, approachable after class hours, have enough knowledge on the topics, have good communication skills. But some of them will be of moderate type who are not so helpful to the students. That section can be improved a bit.
