Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is very thorough. We had a mix of theoretical classes and practical sessions, mixed very decently. The college is very much academic oriented. Final few years were mostly occupied by assisting the live practical sessions.
Placement Experience
Placement cell of the Institute is responsible for training and development of the students, so as to prepare them to be capable of sitting in the robust environment of the recruitment process. Placement cell is also responsible for guiding the students on the basis of their interest and capabilities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Course fee in DMIMS was very high. One year fee for my course was around 1850,000 INR. Though there are scholarship options available with the college, but the five year fee structure is bound to leave you debt-ridden
Fees and Financial Aid
Our institute offers scholarship in the name of Policy for grant of free-ship/scholarship to students of DMIMS (DU). Other scholarship options are Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Freeship Policy and Late APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship, which are offered to the students subject to eligibility.
Campus Life
Our infrastructure includes a health center (gym), a Poly house, a state of the art library for the students, a fully air-conditioned hostel, etc. Overall the campus life is very vibrant where we celebrated many occasions. Different forms of cultural activities gave us numerous opportunities to socialize with students from different cultural backgrounds.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of previous exam (graduation) you appeared in. Overall academic performance is evaluated during the selection process.
Faculty
Faculty is very highly invested in the dissemination of information. They would also give their insightful opinions about the practical implications of our learning. Both teaching and non-teaching staff was very motivating and pushed us to take ownership in treating a patient. I was nervous in the beginning, but it boosted my confidence a lot.
