A college to remember IET

The positive thing about the college is there is very less number of classes which helps the students to study from various sources like Coursera and negative thing is college haven't evolved over the time

The course curriculum is a bit old fashioned and haven't been updated with time. There are some subjects like Machine learning which still haven't been added in the Computer Science branch. There are Semester wise exams and there are also two Unit Tests.

The placement department is really active and helps to get the students placed. The only thing is the quality of placements isn't good i.e placements are limited to 5-8 lakhs per annum. There is no support for Internship from college and the students have to find on their own.

There are various events in college like Cultural Fest called Encore and sports event called Shauryotsava and Technical Event called Parakaram. These events are based on Inter-college. However there are many other fests which are organised by every department like Computer Science Department organizes Kriti Fest

The Fee structure is more kind of Feasible if seen with the perspective of today's era but it's certainly a bit high for a government college. The Fees is around 1 lakhs per annum and the Hostel fees is also included in this but the Mess fees isn't included.

The college is very helpful when it comes to Scholarship, several senior students and Dean of Student Welfare organize a seminar in which various details about filling the scholarship are discussed. And they also organise a session where the Bank Account are opened.

The extracurricular is more than required. There are club for Dance, Drama, Sports, Robotics, Music etc. which helps the student to get engaged in various activities. These clubs organize competition and train the freshers to develop an overall personality

The Hostel are generally old but have been refurnished recently and are good for living. The best thing is there is LAN network which provides a very good speed of Internet so that students can learn from various platforms on INTERNET

The Alumni network isn't good and there is very less support when it comes to Internship or Placements. The interaction between the Alumni and Students is very less and that is because Alumni offers very less opportunities to Students.

The admission is through UPSEE and its the first ranked college through this exam. The exam is conducted by AKTU university ( Formerly UPTU). There is a test based on JEE-Mains pattern and there are equal number of questions for Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The best thing about the exam is there is no negative marking.

The Faculty is generally cooperative, but the Faculty isn't as good as it have to be considering the Top ranked college status. The classes are generally less and the issue of attendance isn't as serious, that helps the students to learn from Internet.
