Our college is involved with many sports activities and cultural programs. Colleges are pretty much involved in extracurricular activities such as organising field trips, organising workshops, organising NSS camps, hosting sports events, etc.
Entrance Preview
I did my graduation from the SM Dental College. The BDS program was very informative and covered all the basic elements of a dental program. I would definitely recommend this college for the students who are seeking a good quality of education and an electric campus life.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus was prescribed by the SRM University of Health Sciences. The college is pretty good for academics. The course structure and the faculty were all good and very supportive. Orthodontics program was dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, and treatment of malocclusion of teeth and covered all the learning with hands-on experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One year fee for the BDS program was around 6 lacs per annum. The college charges a very high fee for all of the dental program. Though the facilities provided are very good. College also offers scholarships to the needy and eligible students.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty awesome and electric. Students are very friendly and social network is pretty nice in here. Many cultural events are organised which bring students from different backgrounds together. The college has nice buildings and auditorium which are fully digitized and with audio-visual facility enabled.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is provided by the college. Hostel rooms are nice and has many facilities for the students. The rooms were well furnished and there is a general store near the college.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of NEET UG exam. Students have to apply on the official website of the college and after that they have to appear for the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, India.
